Jarrod + Lindsay Wedding Highlights

We began filming mid morning for Jarrod and Lindsay’s big day. The hotel they were getting ready at set the stage for what would be a very exciting wedding. All the members of the wedding party were a joy to work with and Jarrod and Lindsay were, of course, wonderful.

The wedding concluded and we followed them over to Level Two for the reception. The dancing and partying finished a perfect day off with a blast. Fun to film and fun to edit. Congratulations Jarrod and Lindsay.

Jen & Will – Wedding Highlights

At the beginning of June, we traveled to Silverlake, Michigan to film Jen & Will’s wedding. We spent all day with them capturing their special day. They were very gracious in allowing us the kind of access that they did and we were happy with the way it all turned out. Congratulations Jen & Will!

Dallas Mavericks Championship Parade

I made my way down to the parade for the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks. The crowds weren’t too bad until the parade actually started and then I found myself a little cramped. No the less I got to see everyone and shoot a little footage of the parade.

Episode 5: The women arrive at “The Lofts”

The Lofts – Episode 4

Last Sunday we all got together to shoot the 4th episode of “The Lofts”. This episode begins a multi-episode story arc that will hopefully take us through to the end of our first season. We also hope to introduce new characters in many of the upcoming episodes. Enjoy!

Easter weekend birthday party

This past weekend I was at a birthday party with my family and so I decided to bring my camera along. This was the first opportunity I had using my new Steadycam Merlin. I still have to work out some kinks balancing it with my Canon 60d, and the wind was not making it any easier, but I was able to get some nice shots. Its fun to find the special moments in the party and be able to put them together. My daughter had a lot of fun and is counting down the days to her birthday.

The Lofts – Episode 3

Last Friday night, Brent, Matt, Ghahre and I decided that we would meet some friends at Village Burger Bar for dinner and some drinks, and then go film the 3rd episode of “The Lofts”. Not the best decision we’ve ever made…lol. Dinner was fun, but then we needed to start working. We actually got a lot done in the 4 hours that we shot, but it was definitely more difficult for everyone to stay on track. We probably won’t do it like that again, but we had a lot of fun that night. Enjoy episode 3 of “The Lofts”.

Ham Family Portrait

Last week I went out to sunny Fort Worth, Keller actually, and shot the Ham Family. Jared from Jared Rey Photography was there and we did a joint photography/videography shoot. Travis, Holland, and Kyla Grace were awesome. They seemed completely comfortable in front of the camera and allowed us to capture them as they are. The shoot was a blast and I had a great time. Many thanks to the Ham household for having us over and allowing the cameras to get up close and personal.
